How can I transfer pictures and contacts from my stolen S4 to my Note 5?

My s4 was recently stolen, I had pictures and contacts on there that I need. I recently upgraded to a note 5. I am struggling to transfer my photos and contacts with out the phone. Could anyone help me?

"If" you where using verizon cloud services any pictures, music or whatever else you had stored there can be downloaded to phone.

Likewise, if you have a Gmail account the data including the contacts would be available to you.

Google photos? Any type of synced cloud storage or backup service?

Otherwise, you're asking the equivalent of how to get back the contents in the center console of your stolen car...

Did back up your photos on a cloud storage or just saved on the SD card? Only once when I had my S5 card did I make a back up of the card. Luckily I still have the card and it works. If you saved it to the cloud, which did you use? Someone might be able to help with that.

In another forum people where saying this is why they love cloud storage. Access anywhere, on any device (phone, computer, tablet), and have it safe.

I'm trying to like the cloud and see it's advantages. This is one more reason.
