How can I use Internet in Motorola droid 4 gsm and cdma with mts cdma sim in India

I bought a Motorola droid 4 xt 894 from eBay.com which is from Verizon and unlocked I'm using mts CDMA sim in India and I can make call and sms but I can't access internet but I can use internet with gsm sim in it but with mts CDMA sim it doesn't show the data on and off button at all how can I use internet in anybody help me

Are you sure it's not the SIM card that is damaged? You should also check the APN's of your phone to make sure they match your carrier's.

Also check the frequencies that MTS uses for data (I can't find them in my normal sources).

The phone uses:

3G: HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
4G: band 13(700)

If MTS doesn't use any of those frequencies, the phone won't get internet on MTS. (I assume the GSM SIM is from some other carrier, because my data shows that MTS is a CDMA-only carrier.)

It's also possible that, as wizzrah said, that the CDMA SIM isn't setting the APN up properly for MTS - in which case, the phone doesn't know what IP address to use to get on the internet.
