How can you get the phone call option menu (hangup, speakerphone, phone locked during a phone call?

I recently got the samsung s10e and every time I make a phone call I lock my phone. When I pull down the green call bar no menu appears anymore, I have to unlock my phone to get it. Which is a pain when you need to quickly hangup, mute someone, or put your phone on speaker. Need a solution ASAP

Can hold the phone in the other hand while on calls so your thumb doesn't accidentally touch it .

Welcome to Android Central! Are you saying that you manually lock the phone while you're on a call, or that the screen automatically locks when you're on a call? The normal way it should work is that when you put the phone up to your ear, the screen automatically turns off due to the proximity sensor, then when you take it away from your ear, it turns back on. Is it staying on when you put it against your ear?

I manually lock the phone. On my s7 I could pull down the phone call menu and mute the call, put it on speaker, or hangup without unlocking the phone.

Just curious -- why do you lock your phone while on a call? It may be that Samsung decided to get rid of the ability to access that from the lockscreen for security reasons.

After OP confirmed lock the phone manually, I did this test on few my phones including the Note 10+ the screen doesn't lock even if you press the power button and left it like that for 30 seconds with screen off didn't lock . So something happening with their device, I would try in safe mode to see how it is there .

Not on a phone call , I will do some more testing tomorrow on this but same on the 1+7P
