How current and disappointed users are going to switch to the EVO?

I know there are a lot of gadget geeks on this forum like myself who are a bit enticed and curious as to what the EVO holds in store. I wonder how many of you are plotting a switch to Sprint for the EVO or are most of you if not all of you comfy with your Incredible? I for one am more than satisfied with my Incredible but I am bit intrigued by the device. Kind of looks like a stretched out Incredible to me.

Not me. I just switched from AT&T to Verizon for better coverage and I'm not about to put up with Sprint.

I think the EVO is interesting because it's the incredible with a bigger screen, faster connection and dual cameras. However, ITS HUGE. It's actually a brick. If you want EVO speed get an incredible and a 4G mobile spot thing.

Switch for a gadget? Not likely for myself, as I type this with one finger on my Incredible. ;)

As much complaints I hear about VZW, I have the best reception and signal strength with them than when I had AT&T and Sprint. The biggest thing about the EVO is the 4G capabilities, which is limited to select cities. For those not living in 4G coverage area, well, its just another 3G smartphone. I am perfectly happy with my Incredible!

yeah it seems to have go past the threshold of being too big IMO

Happy with big red from coast to coast I can't say the same with the others because they are to inconsistent. The evo looks great but the incredible is just amazing and blew away my expectations.

Put up with Sprint? Have you ever actually had their service? I've had them for over 7 years and they have been nothing but stellar!! Even when they had a bad rep for customer service, which I never experienced btw, they apparently have squashed all of those so called issues in the past 2 years and honestly, NOBODY (in blogs, articles, comments, etc.) who has used them recently ever complains about their service. Ask yourself when is the last time that you've heard someone blast sprint's service in the past few years? It's honestly a rare occurrence if it does still exist. Awesome coverage, price, and bang for your buck!!

If I'm not mistaken the EVO has dual camera that's a plus I guess, it has a bigger screen that's a plus, it's going to have 4G heh ok.

It has the same processor but only 512mb ram, 1GB of storage. And Sprint. The 4G advertised by sprint is only going to be in select markets, and even then they will still be working bugs out, meaning IF you are in one of those markets you will have 4G coverage, everyone else running 3G same as now.

So the question boils down to this, do you want a bigger screen, and is dual camera's more important to you than 8GB of internal storage. Are you in a 4G coverage area?

If you answered all three yes then yeah you will more than likely be getting an EVO, if you only one or maybe two of those yes then you're staying put. But everything aside, even if i didn't have an incredible I wouldn't get an EVO because it's Sprint, crappy coverage nationwide and even worse customer support, the price is the only thing they got going right now. I think I'll stay with my Incredible, and Verizon, I like them just fine.

Something similar to and most likely better than the EVO will come to Verizon in a year, when they have their 4g rolled out on a larger basis, right now the coverage of 4g is spotty at best, and the technology will likely improve exponentially by that time.

Unless Sprint's network works for you and the phone size isn't a drawback, I don't think there will be many disappointed users or switchers.

Well when Verizon decides to get serious with LTE 4G whatever you want to call it they will have a phone I want more. I figure just with todays experience, first time using the incredible, I'll stay with this phone until something just completely demolishes it or the phone seems to slow to do what I want it to do.

Families business still runs off of sprint just because the 2 way is so vital for what they do. The coverage is garbage and they constantly have problems. We are in the Baltimore, dc, virgina. Mostly in the cities, so yeah. Junk.

I was a longtime sprint customer (15 years!) and had to switch. Neither of the two places I live have any decent coverage with Sprint (Houston and SF bay area). Verizon cured that. I've been lusting for a good smarthphone (read iPhone) while being ridiculed for my storm. Thank you Incredible!
