Android Central Question
I just used SmartSwitch to move everything from a Galaxy S4 to a Galaxy S7. Almost everything worked fine but I had to re-install/re-login to about 20% of the apps.
There are a couple of problems/differences between the S4 and the S7 apps. One that is irritating me is with the S7 Contact app, I can't find any of the street address info that I easily entered when using the S4 Contact app. Nor can I even find how to add an address within the S7 app.
First question I have is are both those apps actually Samsung apps or third party apps that just happen to be pre-installed? If third party, who/what are they so I can go and get some documentation? If they are Samsung apps, is there a website where I can get Samsung documentation covering the Samsung installed apps?
Second question is can the installed app be removed/inactivated and another 3rd party app be installed so I can have a Contact app that allows me to just store ALL the information I need for all my contacts? I don't need a Contact app that allows direct dialing, etc.; I just want a really good contact/address digital book.
