How do I access the Moto G (1 generation) driver(installed)?

how to access the moto g (1 generation) driver(installed)?

I am writing android app using android studio. when i try to connect moto g with the machine it says it as a portable device. so i installed moto g's driver but still it is not read moto g driver when i connect. it takes some default driver in which i cant run my app in my moto g.

Do you have USB debugging mode enabled? You'll need that.
