Yes,, I know how to add widgets and apps to my home screen but I can't figure out how to add a app/shortcut to my home screen.

As example... I pull up this forum in a search,, or Amazons home page,,, and want to place the icon/shortcut for this forum or Amazon on the home page of my Nexus 10.

On my ipad it's super easy,,, just click the little arrow icon on the iPads top nav bar and whatever website your viewing gets added.

I know I can do bookmarks but I'm more wanting to just add the shortcut of whatever website I'm viewing,,, not a bookmark or placed in a folder.

Even on my Galaxy Note 2, it's super easy,,,,, I'm totally stumped on how to do it on my Nexus 10 (I'm running 4.2 JB)

Thanks in advance for any help

In my Ocean browser all I have to do is press on the bookmark until it is checked and then tap on bullets in upper rh of screen and click on save shortcut to home. I hope this helps.

It looks like in chrome you have to create a bookmarkscreen, then go to your bookmarks, hold in the site you want to add to your home screen, and select add to home screen. In firefox just hold I'm the link in the address bar and choose add to home screen.

I found a Bookmark widget in the AllApps screen (center button in bottom home screen bar) and dragged it to a home screen. A window will then appear asking you to choose the specific bookmark from Chrome.

But it will load in whatever browser you have chosen as your default so mine load in Dolphin Jetpack.
