How do I adjust the DTMF on my Nexus 6?

I've looked in Settings and can not find anything that might lead me to the DTMF adjustment from short to long for my hearing aid app.

Open the dialer, press the 3 dots in the upper right corner (in the search bar), select Settings, Calls. Hearing aid comparability and DTMF settings are there.

I can only turn hearing aid compatibility on or off. There are no other settings available after I turn it on. I have the US model, do you?

I do have the US model. The setting for DTMF is right below the setting for hearing aid compatibility. The choices are Normal and Long.

Weird! On that screen I only have Calling accounts, Voicemail, Fixed Dialing Numbers, Wi-Fi calling, TTY mode, Hearing aids, Call forwarding, and Additional settings.

Maybe it's carrier specific? I'm on Verizon if that makes a difference.

I'm on T-Mobile so we are on different software versions. It's odd that there would be a difference for that feature though.
