How do I answer an incoming call while I am in the process of leving a message?

Re: Samsung Galaxy S4---I have tried to get out of/cancel my mode of leaving a message. The result is I lose the call and I must try to call the caller back. This usually occurs when I am leaving a message for the same cell phone number that is calling me at that moment, but I would guess it is the same regardless of who is calling me right then.

You should get a pop up asking if you want to join two calls hang up the call or place the call on hold.

Just choose the end call option and it will transfer you to the new call
