Its a simple question; how do I block calls on my lg g4?

from the phone app: touch the 3 dots in the upper right, then go to call reject. Then take the option: "reject calls from", click on the + sign, and enter the number

There are a number of apps you can download. I think one is called caller blacklist.

I use "Mr Number" app, it works great! when a call comes in you want to block go to the app and you can select it to "Hang Up" next time that number calls or you can select to send it to VM.

On the Sprint version there isn't a "Call Reject" on the three dot menu. You first have to go to "Call Settings", then there is a "Call Reject" setting.

Perhaps that's where it is for VZW as well?

If you are on Verizon you either add the number to contacts and make it go straight to voicemail OR you are going to have to download a 3rd party app. Period.

Or use the My Verizon app or website, under safeguards I think. You can create a block list there, with a bunch of annoyances...you can't do it with an actual call (copy/paste the number afterwards), there are only 5 slots for numbers, and the block expires after 60 days.

I'm pretty sure vzw disable that feature.
It is available on the international model tho (which I have )

I use a free app called Sync.me. Its primary function is to sync the pictures and info from all your social media accounts with your contacts. However, one of its coolest features is its ability to block calls. It also includes a large database of phone spammers and a black list for those numbers so it automatically blocks them for you. You can also selectively add numbers to your own personal blacklist.

Works on my Verizon G4 and it is free.

It is a standard Android option. Verizon just stripped a bunch of options from their version, so they could sell you a monthly service to do the things that other carrier's phones do for free. It's the coverage that keeps me as a subscriber. Kinda like the Cadillac dealer getting a new shipment of Escalades and stripping the A/C, PS and other standard equipment from them, so they can sell it back to you.
