I have an LG Rebel 4 running Android 8.1.
I have Disabled Facebook on my phone; Force Stop is grayed out, and there doesn't seem to be a way to uninstall it.
I am receiving repeated full-screen pop-ups requesting me to install Facebook. These usually appear within 5 seconds of leaving the lock screen, and often come up several times shortly after that. I want this to stop, lest it interfere with a 911 call.
I was having a similar problem with the Google Play Store, and used Force Stop to (hopefully) kill those ads. Is there a similar way to stop the Facebook ads?
