I have a galaxy s3. When I use find my mobile (ring my phone) it always uses the same sound. Birdsong on the lake or something and I don't know how to change it.
I tried changing the ringtone in settings, my device, sound but nothing works.
Does anybody know if I can do that and how?
Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not directly familiar with that app, but most apps that use ringtones or notification tones will allow you to modify them in the app's settings. When you open the Find My Mobile app, does anything come up when you tap the Menu button?

It's not an application. It's find my phone through my Samsung account or Google. I access it on the phone in settings, security. And you have several options. Like locking your phone or wiping it up, find it. I thought it's useful in case it's stolen.

The ringtone uses the "default" ringtone as the caller is unknown. Change the unknown ringtone and the find my phone ringtone will change as well.
Since a caller never comes up on the phone I don't see how we could ever assign a custom ringtone to it.
I am jealous of my daughter's iphone that only used a "ping" sound instead of a default ringtone.

Hey so for me I have a Huawei device and when I change my phones ring tone it automatically uses that phone for fine my phone app I'm not sure if its the same for Samsung. Is there any Samsung ferms that may be able to answer or have you tired emailing Samsung customer services and see if that can answer this for you.
