How do I change LTE/CDMA setting?

I was going through My Verizon app and clicked on DEVICE HEALTH CHECK / CONNECTIVITY / NETWORK MODE. It says "Your phone could be on a better network. You're better off using LTE/CDMA or global modes for better signal strength". SEE SETTINGS. That sent me to CONNECTIONS. I've gone through every option but never see any way to change to either of those network settings. Obviously I'm missing something. My phone gets very slow and is sometimes almost useless on wi-fi as well as cellular. That is the reason I was looking. Any ideas? Thanks as always.

Did you get this phone directly from Verizon, or did you get it from somewhere else and bring it to Verizon?

Let me see if @mustang7757 or @Laura Knotek might be able to help with the location of that option. I don't use a Samsung as my daily driver (and I'm not on Verizon), so I can't test it myself.

I wouldn't be worried if a carrier app recommended something but in network mode if your able to select global that's the one to choose from on Verizon variants

My settings look different, but I have a factory unlocked device in using on Verizon. I use automatic and have 5G enabled. If I turn off automatic I see the various options.
