How do i change resolution

I don't think you can alter the MP resolution... at least not with the OEM camera app.

With the factory camera, you can't change resolution.

But I take pics and send them via text message, and don't have a problem. I use the LG messaging app; maybe it downsizes things?

But I do need to take pics for expense receipt purposes, and I discovered that my expense system doesn't like the high res photos. So I found another camera app that let me choose the size like I'm used to.

I use Textra and have no problem sending screen shots through messaging.

too many steps, too complex.

I can go into the stock messaging application, hit the paper clip, choose Camera, take a picture, and have it ready to send in messaging--without having to fool with the picture at all.

weird... i had one capture at 2.63mb 1440x2392 resolution... yet another at 784kb same resolution...

your messaging app should automatically resize them either way...
