How do I change the photo format from PNG to JPG ?

Galaxy S4. Suddenly my photos are showing up in PNG format. In there a setting to control the format used for photos ?

Are you using the stock camera for that? I really don't recall any setting to save in a different file format, it should be saving as JPEG. Only thing that you can change, if my memory serves me right, is resolution (MP).
