I have a Galaxy Alpha and a Samsung Gear S that are connected via bluetooth. When I get a voicemail, I get a notification on my Gear watch, but not on the Alpha. I can check the voicemail using the Gear, but if I try to check using the Alpha, I just get a message saying that I don't have any voicemails. The voicemails that show up on the Gear are to my primary number for the phone, not the other number the Gear has for when it is not in bluetooth range. The Alpha has Visual Voicemail, not the old regular voicemail. Any ideas how to correct these issues?
I'm not sure how to respond to answers given here, so I'm editing the question to include this:
I've tried pressing and holding "1" to open voicemail, but it goes to visual voicemail and says there are no messages. I know there are messages there because I called my phone from another number and left a test message. It shows and plays on the Gear, but not on the Alpha. Could it be something to do with the two being linked?
