How do I clear the list of recent user names in "Sign in to network"? (clarified)

Note that this is the clarified version of the previous one.

When I go to "Sign in to network" on a Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, I type in the user name and password. However, I made a few typos in the user name and they were added to the list, despite them being incorrect. Thus, the incorrect user names kept adding to the history of user names used to sign in on the network. It makes it harder to find which one is the correct username. The long list of user names would cause me to be accidentally locked out of the network.

Here is the screen in question: i [dot] imgur [dot] com/lGvSWsPl [dot] png (add http [colon] [forward slash x2] in front of the URL with the [colon] replaced with the actual colon and [forward slash x2] replaced with // and replace [dot] with the actual dot)

Note that I have blurred out the names for privacy reasons.

Another thing, long-pressing on the names only put the name on the field, not delete them.

It would be good if there is a way to clear the list of recent user names. Thank you.
