Is there anyone that knows how to close the native browser without pushing back a thousand times? please let me know

ATK froyo kills tasks in froyo. Haven't you heard?

But I agree, no need to kill tasks generally speaking.

I normally don't care unless it shows up in running services, Froyo will stop the rest and just make a cache of the app. If I'm wrong please correct me.

If you are using the stock browser (Internet) on the EVO just leave it. The device manages applications on its own.

I use Dolphin HD and you can hit "menu" -> "exit" to close the browser.

Otherwise there's no reason to try to manage your applications. Your device will do a better job then any Task Killer (as mentioned on the recent AC Pod Cast).

I typically use the home button as well, but if I have more than a few windows open (native browser) I kill all but one first.

On the stock browser, all you have to do is click Menu, Select Windows, Click the + to open a new browser window, then do it again and click the X on the browser window that you want to close. Then back out of the newly opened window. And the next time you open your browser it should open as your homepage instead of a remembered page. This always seems to work for me!
