How do I connect Facebook to the internet?

I activated the latest Facebook app and inadvertently shut off my access to Facebook. I can not reactivate Facebook now - I am informed that I am NOT connected to the internet.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? What do you mean that you inadvertently shut off your access to Facebook? Does the phone connect to the web normally for all other apps? Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?
