Android Central Question

When I used to have a blackberry I could create different sound profiles for notifications, for example the work one had a sound for emails and calls, but whatsapp and text where silent, the "loud" one for when i was outside I'd have all notifications on and at high volume, and the home one I'd have emails silent but whatsapp facebook insta and text at medium volume, and so on. I could create a profile for every situation and activate the one I needed when I needed it.
On the samsung other than the Do not disturb option, I can't seem to be able to adjust whether a group of apps has a sound or not, I'd have to go and amend them all individually. Is there maybe an app or something that would allow me to do what I could with a blackberry?

The only way to change volume by location would be with an app like IFTTT or Tasker (Tasker isn't free). And that would be for Notifications, not for each app individually. Android just doesn't do that.

I haven't looked, but Tasker, with Secure Settings (which is free) might be able to change the notification itself for a particular app. Then you can just use an app like Ringtone Maker (also free) to make a few different levels of a particular sound file, and have Tasker pick the level you want for the location you're at.

Maybe I expressed myself unclearly, but this has nothing to do with location, I don't want my phone to change sound settings according to where I am. I want to be able to have different sound/notification profiles, that I will have edited and organised, to chose from depending on my situation. The only ones I currently have are either normal or Do not disturb.
