How do I crop a photo from my Galaxy S8 plus

I have a photo saved on my phone and want to enlarge and crop.

assuming the editing is the same on the s8, open photo in gallery. At bottom of the screen on the left there is an interrupted square w a rotation arrow. you can use this to crop or go to the 3 dots upper rt corner and open editing tools. However, you cannot resamble or change resolution, only crop size. Also, you cannot control quality of compression. You can redirect saving to SD card rather than device. I downloaded Photoresizer for control.
