How do I delete from the Samsung or Android Music Player app?

I'm trying to delete albums and songs from my Music Player app. Also want to make a favorites list but some songs are just labeled by track number. How can I hear it to see if I want to add it to my favorites list? Right now it's playing a cd that won't play and I can't get it changed.

Welcome to Android Central! Try long-pressing a track in the list and see if there's an option to delete. If not, you may have to use My Files to delete the actual music track or album directory.

How did you get the songs that are only listed as tracks? Did you rip those from a CD, or get them some other way? If you rip a song from a CD, the music ripper software you used should have embedded the proper ID3 tag information with the album name, artist, etc.
