How do i *DISABLE* Swipe to delete?

It's too easy to accidently delete emails. There's no "Are you sure?" And they do not show up in the "Trash" folder. Poof! they're just GONE!

What E-mail app and device are you using? That would allow us to help you more easily.
 
Sorry I forgot to include that info (and then I had to register on the site in order to answer you). Galaxy S7, standard email app (not Gmail).

There is a setting in the stock email app for "Confirm deletions" so it asks for confirmation before deleting email. Make sure that is turned on. But doesn't affect swipe that deletes ... hmmm. There is an Undo associated with swiping to delete so that you can recover the message, but don't see anywhere a setting to change it. In Gmail there's a way to change between swipe to delete or to archive. Personally I use Gmail.
