How to disable the banner notifications on lock screen.

How do I disable the banner notifications on my lock screen that are showing up after downloading the new update? I liked the small icons at the top of the screen but I really hate the banner notifications now. I have a Samsung note 4. Please help!

It could be a bit different in your phone but try going to settings - sound & notifications - when device is locked - and then select no notifications at all.
