How to download nikon cool pic card reader photos to galaxy note pro 12.2

I have a nikon cool pic aw120. I have a card adapter for my laptop that I can download photos to Google drive. Is there a special adapter that can attach to the card reader that can be inserted to my galaxy note pro 12.2 so I can download my photos &Movies to my galaxy?

Welcome to Android Central! You should be able to use an OTG cable to connect the card reader to the Note Pro. In the future, you might find it easier to use a microSD card in a fullsize SD adapter in the Nikon camera. Then when you're done taking pictures, take out the SD adapter from the camera, remove the microSD card from the adapter, and insert the microSD into the Note Pro.

Your camera has wifi. The manual (or a visit to a support website for your camera) should help you work out how to simply transfer by wifi straight from your camera to the Note Pro. Here is a quote from Nikon re your camera:

" You don't even have to wait to share the rush—with built-in Wi-Fi®, your COOLPIX AW120 shots can instantly appear on a compatible smartphone or tablet for easy sharing."

I don't know your camera, so cannot help there. But on the Note Pro side, go to Settings, then Connections, then turn on Nearby Devices. Provided you have done whatever the Nikon needs to have its wifi turned on you should be able to connect the two and download from camera to Note Pro

This is a general answer to most of the photo problems with getting them from a compact/compact or digital camera
The easiest way I have found
Is to buy the usb dongle that fits your tablet (normally a type b to standard sub socket)
A sub card reader that supports your memory card and just plug it in the tablet
Most Samsung tablets are what that call OTG compatible but you can check your model on gsmareana, any android device is on there
Hope this helps
I have a Canon 6d and do this all the time
