How do I enable content to be shown on lock screen?

How do I enable content to be shown on lock screen

I have gone into the notification settings and selected no to hide content on the lock screen but it still shows up as hidden content. This problem has persisted over the two days ive had the phone. I am a new user on this s6 so im sure there is a simple solution that im missing. Thank you!

Im trying to let a couple sports apps display updates as well as weather. In the options the option to hide the content on the lock screen is set to no but on the lock screen it still shows its hidden
