How do I enter menu numbers when call is connected?

Screen goes blank after call is connected. Some businesses give you a menu (i.e., "press 0 to speak to assistant, press 1 for more options"). How do I get tp a screen to enter numbers? Thanks!

If you move the device away from your face, it should light up. You can then put it in speaker (or headphones), press the keyboard icon and you're in business.

If you have a screen protector on, some were not cut properly to allow the proximity sensor to work correctly. This causes the screen to be blank during calls, even if it's not up to your face.
