How do I find deleted notifications on my note9

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Notifications>Advanced Settings>Notification History, and turn that on. If it was off, then I don't think you'll see any recently dismissed notifications even if you turn it on. It'll only start logging the dismissed notifications after you turn the feature on.

I moved this from the Galaxy Note forum (for the ancient original Note phone) to the Note9 forum.

I've been searching for this too. Problem is, on my Note 9 there isn't an "advanced settings" selection.

Nevermind. Found it. Totally different spot. App drawer > scroll down forever to "notification history" > wait 10 minutes while everything loads up (really need to purge that list).

Welcome to AC!
When u click on a notification it doesn't open the corresponding app?
I don't know about the OP, but on mine most of the time, yes it does. But occasionally the notification just goes away.
For example, yesterday I got a notification that said "‎Samsung Free is turning into Samsung News!". Never heard of either program. Clicked the notification and it vanished.
Occasionally it'll pop up and vanish when I click. Usually happens when I've got about 4 conversations and text messages running and I need to clear my screen.

Those type of notification can disappear quickly instead of a notification like Gmail, phone, message etc..
