How do i fix certain keys not working on my motorola android phone?

to fix the problem now; say your typing "android" and you hit the d-key and it doesn't respond if you turn phone over 90degress or 180degrees it will work and you mite type 3-15 letters and/or numbers before you flip again and you repeat for each key or number that doesn't respond or respond correctly; i thought it mite b screen related but there is hardly any scratches on the face and surely not enough to coincide with the randomness of the non functioning keys....
