How do I fix my copy and paste?

The copy and paste features are not working on my 2 month old Samsung S5. When i highlight text it appears to copy , but when i paste I get the old copy , not my most recent. It was working ok until recently. How can i fix this?

Might be a full clipboard/cache. Try settings-storage-cache to clear everything. You might also pull up your clipboard - not sure on your phone - on other Samsungs, you pull up texting app, press & hold where you would insert your message and the clipboard comes up. Finally, a simple restart of the phone.
