How do I fix my Galaxy S3 from dying so quickly?

I have had a StraightTalk Samsung Galaxy S3 for about a year now. Recently my battery started dying really fast. It could have a full chrage and then I'd make a quick 2 to 6 minute phone call and it would drop down to like 80% battery charge. Wtf?!?! I have absolutely no clue what to do. I ordered new batteries. I got 2 new batteries and have tried both, but my phone still drops like crazy. I have turned off Wifi, GPS and all that. I've set my screen lighting to a the automatic setting. I've rebooted and done a complete factory reset to my phone, and nothing is working. I'm going crazy! Someone please help ASAP!!!

Welcome to Android Central! It would help to see some battery stats. Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

See there's another problem with that. My phone will only charge up to 83%, no higher. Sometimes when i look on it after I take the charger off and it's at 83%, it will say a little later that it's at 93%. Then like 10 minutes later i'll get on it to check, and it's at like 70%!?!?! I don't know what the heck to do. I'm going crazy!

Before you started using the new battery, did you charge it to 100%? Let it charge on a wall outlet overnight without disturbing it, and see if it gets to 100%

If you're still having problems with charging, try a different USB cable and/or wall charging plug, since these can fail. The microUSB port could also be having some issues.

yes I've tried charging it over night. I've tried 3 different connectors. Nothing is working. I've done a complete factory reset and still nothing. I am completely stuck on what to do.

It might be worth trying to calibrate the battery meter. Charge it up as much as it will hold, then use it normally until it gets down to 10-15%. Then charge up again as much as possible, and repeat this cycle about 3 times. Now see if it reads correctly.

If the phone continues to behave oddly, you might have to bring it to a repair shop, since I'd become more concerned about a hardware issue.

A reputable vendor?

Sounds like Your usb port has cracked loose.Needs to be resoldered or replaced.
