how do i fix my Samsung galaxy discover that won't start up (it only gets to the Samsung logo

So switched of the phone yesterday cause the battery was really low when I got home and tried to switch it on it only got to the Samsung logo then went black. Did a battery pull but same thing and it stays the same can anyone please help.
