How do I fix my volume?

hiw do i fix my volume

I have a Kyocera hydrolife .the phone is water proof and I accidently dropped it in the bathtub for less then 30,sec .
I can hear ring tones and the alarm perfectly but media won't play through the speakers . I have turned the volume controls all the way up and still nothing through the speakers. I can hear video and music through the headphones when plugged in but can't get it to work through the speakers .

Any ideas how to fix this ?
Is it just the headphone jack or something ?

Dry it out in a bowl of dry rice. Take battery out if it is removable,then check your warranty in your online user manual. It may only be water resistant which means it can not take a dunk in water. Either way,stop trying to blast the external speakers if less than six hours!

Ringtone and alarms use the same speakers though. If those work wirhout headphones, so should music and video.

I'd first check if you don't have a problem with with the media playback volume settings.
