How do I get back deleted photos?

So i had starred 100 of my favorite pics from orlando so far and when I made a story, I assumed the story was using copies of the picture. When I saw not all the pics were uploaded to the story I decided to delete the story without knowing it would delete the actual photos. I canceled the deletion cause a thought popped up this could be bad. And it was. I didn't have any space on Verizon cloud and Google photos was not activated. I have tried about 6 apps trying to recover them. Please help

Welcome to Android Central. The only way to potentially recover the photos would be to root the device and install recovery software. If you have used the device since they were deleted you most likely would not recover them all.

(I posted this but just made an account) to add, I think I found a couple pictures (gotta double check) but the image is terrible quality using the app diskdigger. Is there is something you guys can suggest that has at least descent quality where I can make out the picture, that would be great.

If your pictures were stored on an SD card, you can recover them using a card reader attached to your computer.
If your pictures were stored on the phone's internal storage, they are gone.
