How do i get certain apps to vibrate again?

I have a galaxy s6 and a few weeks ago only kik and my verizon texting app stopped vibrating. All the vibration settings were turned on. I changed my texting app to the samsung one and it vibrates but unfortunately i have no exact replacement for kik. It's really frustrating me. Is there any way for me to get it to vibrate again? I already tried restarting my phone and uninstalling and reinstalling kik. I have android 5.1.1
