I want to use my HTC widgets but after I upgrade to like Launcher Pro or any other Launcher for that matter, when I go to add a widget all those awesome HTC widgets are not available.
Sense Widget's only work with Sense ROMs and not other custom Launchers... they do not work on other Launchers like LauncherPro, Go Launcher or ADW.
Oh ok... well that frikn' sucks.
You can try apw Widgets. Worth a shot.
Honestly I really like Android Pro Widgets. I use an AOSP ROM, so I have no way of getting Sense widgets (which are literally the only thing I miss), but these fill the gap in for me nicely.
Its far from the perfect fit, but its honestly not bad at all.
I'm using Go launcher. I like it so far but things like the Sense widgets and lock screen features I'm really starting to miss. Might just take it off (the launcher that is)
Hi DirtMCGirt. I had a Tbolt for the 14 day grace period when it first came out but sent it back to be able to compare the others and I ended up with a Droid Charge. At first I really missed the Sense UI customization and clock/weather animations. So I improvised. I loaded Go Launcher EX and then found the widgets described below. I don't know if these will work for you but I use them on my Charge and they work fine. Will take some doing but they should work.I want to use my HTC widgets but after I upgrade to like Launcher Pro or any other Launcher for that matter, when I go to add a widget all those awesome HTC widgets are not available.
As for the sense 3.0 lock screen, you may want to check out agile lock. It works really well. It is the same sort of ring lock with the 4 programs. The only thing it doesn't have is the friend stream integration. I found the widgets for facebook and twitter for the go launcher ex are the closest widgets I have found to replace my friend stream. They are both 4x4 scrollable widgets similar to friendstream.

What does AOSP stand for. I'm new to android, and I've been seeing that acronym alot. What's a AOSP ROM?
It stands for Android Open Source Project. Basically meaning it is vanilla android. Rom made without an overlay such as sense .![]()
