How do I get my Galaxy Note 4's transparent notification bar to black?

galaxy note 4 transparent notification bar

I'm pretty sure a commander app I downloaded to have a flashlight toggle in my notification bar turned my notification transparent but after I deleted that app it is still transparent, also when I'm in any other window like messaging or browser the notification bar is back to black which I would like it to be on my home screen also any suggestions on another app to put flashlight toggle on drop down screen? Thanks
