How do I get my galaxy s4 to stop vibrating when I hit backspace?

On a galaxy s4, I just updated to version 4.4.4 recently, but now any time I'm typing, my phone vibrates and makes a noise, but only when I backspace. It's very irritating.

I've gone through the menus and turned off vibrations in the language/keyboard settings etc, and it still vibrates on backspace. How do I get it to STOP?

Thank you. I tried clearing the cache, but it still vibrates when I use the backspace.

The OP did mention that--it should turn off vibration for any key on the keyboard. I guess we should get some clarification, though--you're talking about the Backspace key on the keyboard, and not the Back capacitative button, right?

Yes, I'm talking about the backspace key on the touch keyboard. it's the only key that makes any vibration.

See what happens if you install another keyboard, like Google Keyboard or SwiftKey.

Neither of those made a difference.

However, I plugged my phone into my laptop to back up files, and now it stopped vibrating when I backspace. (Even after unplugging it) I don't know what happened or what fixed it, but I suppose problem solved. Thank you for the help.

Wow, weird. But glad to hear it!
