How do I get my Note 3 deactivated?

Note 3 - Lock Screen

I was using a PIN lock screen for awhile and then decide to switch to "None" - no lock screen. However, it appears that the PIN lock screen is still there every time I turn on the phone. How do I get rid and turn off the PIN lock screen.

If you encrypted storage, you can't - you have to have a PIN or password.

Thank you for your prompt response. I did not encrypt any storage device. I referring to the lock screen when you turn on your phone where you have the option of swipe, pattern, pin etc or None.
