How do I get my phone off of headphone mode?

My LG is stuck in headphone mode and I cant answer it what do I do

There may be debris or something in your headjack. Power off phone, and use can air to blow into hole. Turn back on. Did that clear the issue? If not, power off again. Use a toothpick to clear out debris, being very gentle. You could also dip the tip of the toothpick in 90% alcohol and swirl around. Use the other dry end to swirl around to remove any debris. Please keep the phone off long enough to make sure alcohol has evaporated. You could also use the can air to blow into hole again to help evaluate. If the error still occurs, plug in a couple of different headset plugs to see if the phone will react and reset. Last, backup everything, Factory Reset. If it still occurs, it's a phone issue and take it to your carrier for warranty or insurance replacement determination.

The soundabout app worked! I tried everything. Cleaning did nothing. After installing the app, go to Connectable devices, wired headset settings, turn OFF wired headset detection.
