AC Question

I have a new Motorola Turbo with Android. I have connected to Bluetooth in my 2013 Kia Optima (UVO) I can receive and make calls when connected to Bluetooth. However when I try to use GoogleMaps the voice navigation can't be heard if Bluetooth is active. If I disconnect from Bluetooth then I can hear the navigation. On the phone I have set the Google setting "play voice over Bluetooth".
My previous phone (windows) didn't have this issue. I also don't get a voice announcement that I have received a text message.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Bluetooth, select the car, and make sure Media Audio is checked on.

Thanks
I did discover I didn't have Moto Assist Drive turned on. I took that step and still no success. Followed the link you provided but my phone didn't have the Step 3 and 4 options.
3.Select "Having audio issues using Bluetooth?"
4.Select "Alternate audio channel"
