How do I get notification pop ups on my edge screen?

How to get notification pop up on edge screen

Am I able to get text pop up notifications on my edge screen? It's seems that I have all the serring set up for it but it's not working. I am using Samsung default text app and have edge settings to show texts... maybe text pop up notifications are not possible.

Did you figure this out yet? I have the S6 Active and the pop up aka "heads up" text notifications work okay.

The pop up notifications appear on the top where the notification bar is and you can swipe to dismiss fast. Is this what you mean or do you mean notifications that pop up in the middle of the screen?

It doesn't do it like the note edge where you could be in a full screen app and the edge screen shows the notice. Our curved areas are part of the main screen, not extra tacked onto the side.

The best I am aware of is you can have them appear on the edge while the screen is off by making sure it is on the edge screen information stream.

In theory someone could make an app that pops them up sideways on the left or right but it would cut into your main screen and would work on any android screen curved or not.

I should point out that while this makes our edge seem less useful than the note edge... we are more likely to see apps that use ours because they can be developed for all Android devices whereas the note edge screen us exclusive to it and a very niche market.

Overall I think I prefer the note edge version more just overall preferred the s6e. If there is a note edge 5 may jump to that. Dunno overall pretty happy with this one.
