How do I get rid of a virus?

My Samsung galaxy note 4 has a split screen with one half grey and the other half responding as usual. the glass itself is not broken. I have tried doing a factory reset to no avail. I can still make and receive calls but that's about it.

Sounds like the screen is damaged. It might not be "cracked" though.

yeah it sounds more like the screen in the issue as opposed to a virus.
