How do I get Youtube music to show in my drop down menu?

In December I bought a Galaxy S7 Edge my phone just recently has updated twice and now it will not show my YouTube music when the screen is locked or in my drop down menu when I am playing music on YouTube anyone know how to fix this. The music still plays while the screen is off but now I have to unlock my phone and open the youtube app to skip a song in my playlist. I really hope somebody knows how to fix this.

Welcome to Android Central! By "drop down menu," I assume you mean the notification panel, correct? Check the notification settings for the YouTube or YouTube Music app to make sure it's set to show all information on the lockscreen.
