How do I install Kit Kat 4.4.2 if I haven't received the notification yet?

I have been running this update since 5/2 and my battery life is horrible now. I have reinstalled just incase and its the same. Im running with the GPS/Location, WIFI, Bluetooth, Multi WIndow, s Beam and NFC off. Before the upgrade I would get 5 hours of use out of it before a recharge. Its more like 4 hours now. I have a brand new OEM battery installed as well. I might revert back this week. Otherwise the updates are subtle and KITKAT is a nice visual change.

How are you planning to revert? Note that if you use Odin and try to flash a TAR file prior to ND8, you will almost certainly brick your phone. Knox does not permit reverting to an earlier bootloader (e.g.: 4.3), interpreting it as an attempt to bypass security.

I have a quick question... I updated to Kit Kat via instructions above and was successful. Can I now move the download back to the phone memory and get it off my SD card? (I'm dangerously low on space on my sd card and need the space)

You can erase the big 500 mb zip file.

Thanks.. Hahaha. I only had 752 MB of free space... I use it for music only so every little MB counts for me. (Until I get my new phone anyway ;-) )
