How do I keep my calendar entries after they've been completed?

New Calendar App: Keep Notifications

Hi forum,

I recently got the Lollipop update and also updates for a lot of Google based apps, e.g. the calendar app. I used the calendar to enter not only appointments but also reminders (I dont like google keep app).
The thing is, when a reminder appears one hour before it should be done and I drag down the menu (with one finger) to see what the calendar notification is the notification stays. But when the calendar entry is over (lets say 1 hour past the actual event) and I drag down the menu, the notification is gone. With the old calendar app, the notifications stayed there as long as I didnt swipe them away.
Is there any possibility to enable the old behaviour?

For those little details probably not, unless you use a totally new calendar. Try aCalendar on google play

My calendar is full of notifications and it is also my start page when I open the desktop browser...meh!

But anyway: Thanks for your answer. I thought there is maybe a way around!
