How do i know if i'm still using stock rom

Well just like of of the title says: How do i know if i'm still using stock rom if i used cwm to root and if not will i still be able to get ota automatically or do i have to do it manually?

Gaining root access does not change the fact that you are using a stock ROM. Root access is a superuser level that the phone recognizes and allows you to do things that you could not do without it. If you want to look at the ROM, you can go to Settings>scroll down to About device. You can check root access by downloading an app called root check. And once you have root access you can no longer download OTA updates unless you can fully unroot, or some superuser apps allow a temporary unroot.

Unless you flashed a custom ROM that you downloaded you are still running the stock ROM.

In some situations you can still receive OTA update as long as you haven't deleted stock bloatware and system apps. Even with the custom recovery there is some workarounds to get the update.

Regardless of the above, you will always find someone who puts up the latest OTA update in stock form so you can flash it and stay rooted

I flashed a cwm rom with odin do you think i'll still be able to get official ota updates from samsung and when do you think Note 2 get 4.2 jelly bean and how do i know if i'm still using stock bloatware? i'm noob i rooted my phone a month ago. (Please help i'm 10)

10 years old ?!? Really rooting just admin privileges. Even root you can still get the update just not the over the air ones. As they come out they are frequently made available for a manual update. No big deal.

You just flashed cwm recovery with Odin. That is not a Rom.

I'm on Sprint and my husband's GS2 is eligible for JB 4.I. 2 and it is either by Kies or in-store install, there is no OTA available for this upgrade for the GS2.
