How do I know if my LG G3 D855 has H+ ?

LG G3 D855 has H+ ?

Hello people!
I have a question for this forum.
I have a G3 D855 (from Europe) and the icon of the network is allways in H. I have never seen H+ on this divice.
I have a Galaxy S4 with the same service provider and it allways connect to the network in H+.


I checked on the web, my device works in HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 - D855 and my provider (Personal Argentina) works in Frequency: 850 / 1900 & Band: 5 / 2
When i make a Download Test it goes to 3Mb/S

I'm having problems with the LG G3? How can I know if it is really working in H+ or not?

Welcome to AC and the G3 forum.☺

Since reading your post I've been checking my own D855-EUR G3 through the day, whenever I've remembered to do so, and have not seen H+. I'm not sure now whether I've ever seen it. I certainly do get both H and H+ at different times on my Lumia and Nexus 5, and all three phones are on the same network. Oddly, there have been a few occasions when the G3 status bar has shown 4G, although my network does not yet provide a 4G signal in my area.
However the G3 certainly seems capable of indicating H+:

I've just done an Ookla speed test, and got 8.35Mb/s down, and 3.99Mb/s up, with H in the status bar.

Firts of all thank you!

I do get both H and H+ on my Galaxy S4.
I did a speed test, and I got 4 Mb/s and 1.5 Mb/s up, with H in the status bar.
It's a shame that i don't have here the Galaxt S4 to compare the resaults.

4Mb/s donwnload ... means i'm in H+ ? Or it is not?

...But I'm no expert. I'm not sure (in fact, don't know) to what extent the signal strength might affect download speeds. Mine, as shown in the status bar, was 5 bars when I did the Ookla test.

Me too, maybe there's a problem with the signal strength in your area

That's not the problem, because the Galaxy S4 shows H+
Don't know whtas happening...
