How do I live broadcast with my Samsung S7 and my DSLR camera?

Hi all, I have a Canon Rebel EOS T6 that I'd like to use along with my mobile phone to broadcast live events. My kids are both heavily involved in sports and if I can pull this off, it would allow extended family to watch their events online in lieu of actually being there. I've broadcast before using my phone's camera on YouTube Live and Facebook Live, but I'd like to utilize my camera's better quality video if possible.
What do I need to make this work? If you are able to hook me up with step-by-step instructions that would be even better! (I'm not the most tech savvy guy when it comes to this sort of thing)

Broadcaster Pro would work (it's not free). Videocasting from a Windows laptop with an external camera would probably be a lot easier and free.
