How do I lock a text msg

Has anyone figured out how to lock a message? I have tried long pressing the message, but only get the options to either (copy, quick lookup, or share via)....but no lock.

I am trying to figure this out as well... called and got my MSL code and txt it to myself now I want to lock it but can't I will work to see what I can find

nuprotocol to the rescue! lol

on any of your txtmsg's, tap the end of the message, the part thats hovering with the shadow below it. once you click it, or press on it, you'll get the option to lock it.

Good looking out Nuprotocol but actually you can tap on any part of the message.

So what does lock actually do? I tried it on a reply and it put a lock symbol next to the message. That's it?

It prevents you from accidentally deleting the locked message when you do a mass delete...
